The Challenge
The Living Education Retreat, an annual homeschool educators retreat that focuses on the philosophy of Charlotte Mason, needed a distinctive brand identity to capture its spirit of inspiration, reflection, and community. The branding had to communicate the retreat’s focus on learning, connection, and rejuvenation, while setting it apart as a memorable and impactful event. The challenge was to create a visual identity that resonated with educators and students, bringing warmth and clarity to the retreat’s core values.

The Solution
We crafted a brand identity that beautifully represents the retreat’s ethos of living, learning, and growth. Starting with the logo, we used natural, organic elements symbolizing growth and transformation, paired with modern, clean typography that embodies clarity and approachability. This design creates a sense of calm and purpose, aligning with the retreat’s focus on personal growth and educational enrichment.

The color palette incorporates earthy tones like soft greens, warm neutrals, and a touch of deep blue, evoking a sense of tranquility and grounding. These colors, along with delicate design accents, were applied across a range of materials to create a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.

Supporting materials—such as banners, workshop signage, and welcome packets—were designed to enhance the attendee experience and foster a sense of belonging and community. Digital assets, including social media graphics and email templates, further extended the brand’s presence, drawing attendees into the retreat’s experience even before they arrived.
